This is an exchange of people, who are taking a stand against any nationalistic tendencies. We, who believe in the European idea are now required to speak out against the deniers of the benefits of open borders within the EU.<\/p>\n<p>However &#8211; as Prof. Schl\u00f6gel said in his opening keynote &#8211; we do need some protection. As the European Governments realized too late, open borders within Europe work only, when the outside borders are managed &#8211; not closed with walls, but regulated in a humane way.<\/p>\n<p>Especially because we believe in Europe, we cannot support unrealistic ideas, dreaming of a European unified peace-and-love Multi-Kulti-Society; but we can exchange ideas and cooperate on initiatives, which show the European soul in a positive way.<\/p>\n<p>#ASoulForEurope #Europe #Culture #BC2015<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Soul for Europe conference 2015 &#8211; Day1 The Conference started today in Berlin with a special pre-conference with a focus on the current #refugees challenge in European cities.
